Here is a vintage salesman's sample political post card extolling the virtues of William H. Taft and his running mate in 1908. On the reverse you see that the publisher was non-partisan, you could purchase various depictions of the Republican or Democratic candidates. The company was Porter-Motter Mfg. of Chicago, Illinois and the card is in very good condition, having creases in the lower left corner as viewed from the front, but much more visible on the reverse of the card, so they take nothing away from the subject or appearance. There are no holes, tears, or stains and the edges, aside from the corner mentioned, are mint.
