My Book House, Flying Sails, Volume 8 in the 1937 edition of The Book House for Children series of My Book House books. Originally printed in 1920 and Copyrighted by Olive Beaupre Miller as well as edited, this is one of the fourth edition. Every story a classic in it's own right and the illustrations are great. The front and backplates feature color artwork typical of the period and through out the volume you will find a combination of color and black and white illustrations by various artists. This volume is in very nice shape. Cover wear is absolutely minimal, the binding is solid, and the hinges are nice and tight. There is no writing or marking in the book and no dog eared or torn pages. Seventeen stories cover 224 pages. Keats, Tennyson, The Arabian Nights, and The Tempest are a sample of what you will find.
