Main Street Looking East, Russellville, Ark. I love these main street scenes and this one is certainly no exception. The publisher of the card was C. T. Art Colortone of Chicago and this card is a "C. T. Colorchrom" printing. It is in mint condition all around. The colors appear unfaded and the card is unsoiled. It's also a great card under magnification and one that I would frame were it going into my personal collection. Judging by the vehicle types on the street I have to date this card to the late 1910's or early 1920's. While you see a horse and rider dead center in the street, to the left is a horse drawn carriage and to the right is the only automobile in the scene....and the people milling on the sidewalks, it's just a really neat card in excellent shape. Were it to stay in my collection it would be framed for display.
