TRIFARI Necklace-Black Enamel & Pave-Modernist Chic

This cartouche with "Trifari TM" on a raised platform began in 1980 and was used until 2000 when the Trifari brand was discontinued. The company was purchased by Liz Claiborne Jewelry, which decided to not continue this historic line of jewelry. All good things must come to an end they say. But, thank goodness for the collectible market where fans can still find great Trifari items.

This lovely necklace definitely reflects the fashion styles of the eighties which seems to be coming back at least in costume jewelry. Measuring approx 16 inches in length, the warm goldtone plating enhances the central design. The black enameling loops hold a lovely circle of paves. This in excellent condition. Also, I included a photo in this listing showing this Trifari necklace paired up with another item I have available by Swarovski that matches beautifully. Together they make a modern and very chic fashion statement!
