A well known and loved spot just east of Seattle is Snoqualmie Falls. It is very near the little town of Bend which became the famous setting for the TV show called Twin Peaks many years ago. During spring melt the far left side is used as an offshoot to handle the amount of water flowing. Historically, it was an engineering feat to build and greatly improved the entire regions prosperity.
This diminutive oil painting-8 X 10-packs a big scene with lots of drama in the water. It is signed in the lower right corner and presented in a beautiful solid wood frame. If you would like to purchase this painting without the frame please contact the gallery to discuss that option with a reduced price.
Formerly a professional photographer and communications director, the past decade has been devoted to studying oil painting with many highly respected artist instructors from coast to coast. Now, a full time oil painter specializing in landscapes, my artwork has been represented in galleries in Wisconsin, Utah, Washington, Rhode Island and Massachusetts with paintings in many private collections. As a contemporary realist with an impressionistic flair, I strive to capture fleeting moments inspired by Mother Nature.
