FABULOUS Art Deco Floral Beaded Purse Handbag, Ornate Beaded Fringe c 1925

This beautiful Art Deco beaded purse is a wonderful example of a flapper's accessories of the day...completely beaded with tiny seed beads in vibrant colors, decorated with bright blooms that have retained their color, planted on a background of iridescent beads flashing dark blues, greens and purples. The fringe needs two stitches to secure a small spot that has come undone. Again, the color work of the fringe will make you smile! Peridots, aquas, dark blues, pinks, reds, clears...all woven into a geometric fringe. The top of the bag is crochet with a drawstring. It is lined in a patterned blue silk. This bag was rarely used and is in excellent vintage condition. Measures 10" long (to bottom of fringe) by 6" wide. I believe it is in good enough condition that you could actually USE it to hold the essentials (compact, lipstick and money) on a night out. Channel the flapper in you!
