Vintage Sewing Basket Box Purse

This delightful little wooden sewing box is in really nice condition with a few rubs to the paint here and there. There is a small crack on the underside but it doesn't go all the way through. To me, it appears to be original to the making of the piece by the way it is painted. Maybe not. Otherwise all of the painting on the street scene is in great condition. There are a few rubs here and there around the edges of the box, handle and on one of the black painted nails. The handle is still quite sturdy and attached firmly.

It measures 9 3/4" long by 7" wide by 5" deep.

This is just a great little piece and would make a wonderful gift to someone named Marcy or just a nice addition to your vintage sewing basket or wooden purse collection.
