Heisey Glass No. 1469 Ridgeleigh Pattern Ice Bucket 1935 - 1944

This is a wonderful and unusual Heisey Glass pattern number 1469 ice bucket in the pattern known as Ridgeleigh. The Heisey Glass Company once located in Newark, Ohio designed this pattern in 1935 and it was discontinued sometime after 1944. This high quality, beautiful glass ice bucket displays closely arranged vertical upward flutings beautifully reflecting in each other to produce an entrancing shimmering quality to the glass.

The piece is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs save two tiny flea bites near the base on one side that in no way diminish this impressive piece and the glass is absolutely transparent, free from any cloudiness. This gorgeous piece is clearly marked with the celebrated Heisey diamond H in the center of the base. This lovely ice bucket weighs 2 pounds 8.8 ounces, is 6 ½ inches in diameter measuring 4 ½ inches tall at the handles and 3 ¾ inches tall at the side. The base tapers slightly to 5 ¾ inches in diameter. This unusual piece would make a fabulous addition to any collection or table setting.
