Ironstone Pudding/Food Mold – Late 1800's

This is a wonderful Victorian Era English white ironstone pudding or food mold – sometime spelt mould. This lovely mold dates from the period where ornate and elegant were synonymous and even food for the table was molded into ornate and decorative shapes. This fancy, oval antique ironstone pudding mold has a church window like interior side and a domed top as if to produce an edible church apse when used!

This beautiful mold is in excellent condition with one tiny fleabite on the rim and one interior spot of very light discoloration consistent with age and use. This fabulously ornate piece weighs just over 1 pound, is 3 ½ inches tall, the mouth opening measures 5 by 3 ¾ inches and the base measure 2 ½ by 2 inches.

This wonderful antique English white ironstone pudding mold is ready for your use and to grace your kitchen décor.

Thank you for your interest in this terrific antique ironstone mold and please feel free to browse our Ruby Lane exclusive shop, Little River Antiques & Collectibles, for other unique and exciting treasures.
