This is a marvelous Royal Copenhagen Petite Red Breasted Robin Figurine in very good condition. He is wonderfully crafted and hand painted in life-like colors of auburn, gray and white. The realistic artistry of his feathering under his prominent orange beak is impressive along with the other details of his expression. Although he is small in size, he stands very tall atop his very own pedestal.

This vintage Robin is without cracks, flakes, crazing or chips. He is back stamped with the characteristic Royal Copenhagen wavy blue lines and the artist's initials. The curved line below the "E" in Denmark indicates the circa as 1956. The number 2238 also appears below the water lines. This whimsical feathered creature measures about 2" tall, has a 1 ¼" base diameter and weighs 0.8 ounces.

This charming and finely crafted porcelain Red Breasted Robin will make a wonderful addition to your collection!
