Lovely Pair of Engraved Dutch Silver Teaspoons – Circa Early 1800's

This is a wonderful pair of Dutch .833 Silver Teaspoons. These spoons are wonderfully crafted in a diamond shape giving them a sophisticated style all their own. Each handle is thoughtfully and elegantly engraved further enhancing the presentation of these pieces.

Each spoon measures 5.5. inches. Each teaspoon is fully hallmarked on the back and includes the Dutch duty exemption mark and the number 10 indicating the standard fineness of .833. The letter "a" is the Dutch date mark indicating October 1807- March 1809. The three St. Andrew's Crosses are the city mark of Amsterdam and finally the tree symbol identifying the maker's mark of Carel Bogaert II, working from 1805 – 1811.

These teaspoons would surely enhance your silver collection or dining experience.
