Heisey Glass No. 353 Medium Flat Panel Cheese & Cracker Plate circa: 1905

This is a wonderful and unusual Heisey Glass pattern number 353 Medium Flat Panel Cheese & Cracker Plate. The Heisey Glass Company located in Newark, Ohio designed this pattern in 1905. The pattern was discontinued sometime after 1929. This high quality, beautiful glass plate is made in one piece with the top tray united as one with the bottom creating a wonderful symmetry and gracefulness of design. The piece is in excellent condition save for one nearly microscopic fleabite on the underside edge of the base. I used a loop to locate it.

This gorgeous piece is clearly marked with the famous Heisey H in a diamond in the center of the top tray. This lovely plate weighs 2 pounds, 2 ounces, is 3 ½ " tall with the diameter of the top tray measuring 5" and the bottom tray measuring 9 ½ " in diameter. This unusual piece would make an exciting addition to any collection and table setting.
