Cast Iron Southern Belle Doorstop – Circa: Late 1800’s - Early 1900’s

This is a great antique figural cast iron doorstop in the shape of a southern belle. She retains her original paint and although unsigned, is in the style made by the National Foundry of Whitman, Massachusetts beginning in 1880.

This demur southern belle weighs a substantial 5 pounds 15.2 ounces, is 11 ½ inches tall and the base is 6 inches wide. This charming antique doorstop is in very good condition with no cracks, damage or repairs and has some typical paint loss commensurate with her age. This wonderful antique cast iron doorstop is ready to grace your home décor.
