Antique Mason's English Ironstone "Old Canton" Pattern Plate – Circa: 1850
This is a fabulous antique Mason's English ironstone plate. This handsome plate is in the "Old Canton" pattern with the traditional decoration of pagodas, willow trees, a bridge in cobalt blue under glaze against white ironstone. The base of this wonderful plate is clearly back stamped with the blue crown Mason's maker's mark, Patent Ironstone China used around 1850. It also retains a handwritten label for your discovery!

This elegant plate is in excellent condition given its age with no chips, cracks or repairs save for very faint wear to the glazing on the surface of the plate from years of loving use and display. This lovely weighs 14.8 ounces, is 8 inches in diameter and stands 1 inch tall.
