Antique Blue & White Canton Chinese Export Porcelain Plate Number (#C5) – Circa: Mid 1800's

This fabulous plate is an convenient 8 ¾ inches in diameter and in amazing condition for its age with no cracks or repairs save a few tiny flea bites under the rim with none noticeable when looking at the face of the plate and only the expected glaze pops occurring from the firing process during manufacture. The blue of Canton pieces can vary widely and these plates have the very desirable rich yet restrained dark blue against a gray-white background.

This exquisite plate weighs 14 ounces, is 1 inch tall and was most likely used for desert, pudding or bread and butter. We are pleased to have a complete set of five of these gorgeous plates, ranging from 7 3/4 inches to 9 inches in diameter and all in excellent similar condition. We have priced the plates individually and would be happy to discuss terms of purchase for all five or some other multiple purchases.
