Art Deco Radio Lamp - Bronzed Spelter - Two Nude Dancers – Circa: 1920's
This exquisite Art Deco lamp has been expertly rewired with period compatible cord with the stunning globe shaped shade of similar vintage and selected to complete this dramatic presentation. This gorgeous lamp works perfectly, weighs 3 pounds 2.6 ounces, is 9 ¾ inches to the top of the shade, the base measures 3 ½ by 4 inches, is 8 inches wide to the tip of each maiden's head and the cord is a very useful 7 feet 10 inches long. The base contains two small holes suggesting at one time this lamp may have been mounted on marble or wood. On the underside of the base is found the makers' lettering: Wr. J. AND A.G.F. Co. and on the opposite side "PAT APPL FOR"
This amazing Art Deco lamp is in excellent condition with no scratches or repairs and please note that the wiring repairs under the base have been expertly capped and secured. The shade is also in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs save for a bit of roughness around the top rim and expected for this vintage item. – the hand painted design is beautiful when illuminated and compliments the urn in relief on the lamp base.
Just imagine how magnificent this Art Deco lamp would appear in illumination gracing your sideboard or living room table!
