This book is encased in its original cardboard slipcover is in exceptional condition; dust jacket intact and shiny in like-new condition with no rips, tears or wear marks. The in-color and black and white book pages are secure and the binding tight, bound in red cloth with a gilt crown embossed on the front board. The front end paper does bear the original owners bookplate and name otherwise a very clean, lovely copy.
The original cardboard slipcover is in good condition, is completely intact and has obviously done its job well in preserving the excellent condition of the book. The book measures 14 by 10 ½ and is 1 inch thick.
A great addition to any collector's library and just in time for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebration and the Summer Olympics! What a find!
