Josephinenhutte Lead Crystal Decanter – Circa: Early-Mid 1900’s

This is an exquisite and very elegant lead crystal decanter in a sophisticated stylized pentagon shape. This gorgeous decanter was made by the famous German crystal maker Josephinenhutte, a company later acquired by Villeroy & Boch under the name Josair.

This fabulous lead crystal decanter weighs a hefty 4 pounds 2.0 ounces, is 9 ½ inches to the top of the stopper, is 9 inches wide across the widest portion of the pentagon and is 4 inches deep. The capacity of this wonderful decanter is just under a liter and the piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs on the body of the decanter. The stopper does bear evidence of loving use with a fleabite along a bottom edge and two nicks on the tip of one pentagon point. This does not affect the functionality of the stopper nor does it impact the arresting display of the piece.

Imagine the statement this fantastic decanter would add to your side table or serving tray!
