Wow!!! What a beautiful textured painting, especially the road! The brush strokes are so uniquely applied to capture such reality. We were told that the signature of the artist may be Greek. This scene is just lovely...look at the details and even see the reflection of the mountains in the frozen lake surrounding the home. The canvas board was made in Canada. It is signed in the lower right hand corner and dated '61.

The size of the canvas board is 16 x 20. With the frame this painting measures 19 x 23.

The condition of this painting is excellent. There are no chips or paint loss to the painting itself. The frame shows a little vintage wear, but nothing significant.

This is the kind of painting that one might see on a Christmas card...it is so peaceful and draws the viewer right into the scene!!!
