1920s TRUE Salesman Sample Man's Safari Sun Hat w Tags!
This is so COOL! It is a TRUE salesman's sample man's hat that is a fabulous army green and khaki canvas with mesh and a plastic window. The hat has two tags, one that says, "EX-RAY US Patent Nos. 1,673,859 1,783,549 UNION MADE SMALL". According to the patent numbers, this dates the hat to about 1920s or early 30s. The other tag says, "STYLE --- KS Price $4.50 Case $4.25 Color - Khaki Union Made. Can be sold in WHITE-WS OYSTER-OS GREY-GS TAN-TS". The hat's brim measures 7 inches in diameter one way in length and 5.5 inches in diameter the other way across. The hat measures 3 inches tall. Excellent condition.
