Magnificent Pink Marble Compote or Stand with Three Marble Doves
We have offered here a magnificent Pink Marble Compote or Stand with Three White Marble Doves. This one has a large round Pink Marble Dish on the top, and also a Pink Marble Base. Surrounding the base are three Carved Birds done in White Marble with beautiful black inclusions around the bottom portions. All of the birds have inserted black and yellow eyes, and there is a pink urn shape above them holding the top dish. The top is 9" across, and it stands 11 1/4" high, while the birds are 4 1/2" high. There appears to be one minor imperfection on the base just below the birds, and one of the birds is missing the eye on the inside, and not really seen. It still makes a superb Compote or Stand.
