Magnificent Scrimshaw Ivory Tall Ship with 14k Gold Frame

We have offered here a magnificent Scrimshaw Ivory Tall Ship which is mounted in a 14k Gold Frame. This one is probably to best piece of Scrimshaw I have ever seen, and has the highly detailed Tall Ship cruising through the waves in full sail, and a "gold" moon hanging in the sky. The bottom has the name "Dreadnought" in a banner, and it has the initials "RM" in the lower left corner. This one has been mounted in a marked 14k Gold frame, which also has a faceted Amethyst set just above the Scrimshaw work. The Scrimshaw is 7/8" by 1 1/4" in size, while the total length of the pendant is 1 3/4" long. A truly stunning piece of Scrimshaw for the serious collector.
