Fun Vintage Sterling Silver Flapper Purse

We are offering here a fun Vintage Sterling Silver Flapper Purse. This one has a wonderful ornate design on both front and back covers, with a place for coins, powder and rouge inside. The inside of the powder compartment has a small round mirror, and just an opening for the rouge. The front cover has a monogram with the initials "RER", and there are a couple of small dings. The purse is 2 1/8" by 2 3/8" in size, and overall in very good condition. They were used in the early 1900's for an evening out, when the gal only need a couple of coins for the entire evening. I haven't seen one of these for some time, and it makes a great nostalgic collectible, which with a new chain, can still be used today.
