We are offering here a magnificent 25 Volume Set "The Historians History of the World" by Henry Smith Williams. This set was published in 1908 by Hooper & Jackson Ltd. in London and New York. The set is divided into different sections of the world, and told by the historians of all the periods. The bulk of the work is made up of direct quotations of the authorities, and woven into a seamless narrative for ease of reading, all the while maintaining proper credit so a reader can follow the information to the original authors. The Title Page of each volume was designed and engraved by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Each volume is bound with leather spines and corners with green end boards. The spines are beautifully done with gold lettering and decoration, with the volume number and which part of the world the volume covers. Some of the Leather bindings do show some minor tears from age, and some loss of color, which I have attempted to show the worst in the photos. Mostly just edge and corner wear. The bindings are all tight and the pages are all in very good condition. A fabulous and complete History of the World in a beautiful Set of Books, which would look impressive on any bookshelf.
