James Clark Paperweight Circa 1981

The handblown paperweight is completely forward in its cutting and striking at the least. The center capsule is encased by blue and white fans streaming around. The outer egg shape features an irregular patter of polished medallions. Heavy at 2 & 1/2 pounds the work of art is also practical. The artist is James Clark. If my research is correct, Mr. Clark was born in Montana and resides with his wife in Saskatchewan where the operate a hotshop/studio.

The paperweight is free from flaws, excellent in condition. It is artist signed and dated 1981. This is a one of a kind glass sculpture. It stands approx. 4 1/2 inches and is 4 inches across.
