Lithograph Print of John Scott engraving of horse "L. O. P." from 1828: circa 1872

This engraving by John Scott, one of England's most famous engravers was first published by M. A. Pittman of Warwick Square in London in 1828. Scott was born in New Castle, 1774 and died in Chelsea, 1828, so this may have been among is last work. it is called L. O. P. It is beautiful and warm in the hand coloring of browns and subtle yellows. My invoice gives a date of 1872 as the date of the book publication this came from.

The lithograph is roughly 5 x 4 without the title and the paper measures 6 1/2 x 5. It is clean with no issues. I am listing four similar prints, 3 of them by Scott. They will make an amazing grouping. All are unframed.
