Postcard: Atlantic City Auditorium and Convention Center circa: 1951

The Convention Hall in Atlantic City is an American institution as the site of the Miss America Pageant for decades. Some of us can still hear Burt Parks singing "There she is....". This card is from 1951 on linen stock with beautiful coloring by the E. C. Kropp Co of Milwaukee.

I say the card is in very good condition, with the slight of wear at edges and faint cancellation marks vertically positioned on the front. The cancellation marks are mostly on the dark blue night sky and are not immediately noticed. It is a wonderfully stylized composition for the times.
