Tortoiseshell and Silver Heart Tray – C 1892
A truly beautiful Heart Shaped shallow tray in rich cognac and champagne mottled Tortoise Shell enhanced by an eye catching silver frame. The tortoise shell is set in a very decorative frame silver frame and festooned with a silver ribbon. Even the back of the rim is an exceptional design. Hallmarked Lion and Leopard for London and the date letter R for the year 1892. There is a makers mark but as it has been struck in the silver bow I can only read the last letter B.
Condition Good, just a couple of flea bites in the tortoiseshell.
