Circa 1910 Ribbon Weave Silk Shawl With Paisley Print

Wonderful circa 1910 silk shawl with a nicely textural ribbon-weave and an intricate Paisley print in reds, pinks, robin's egg blue and pale yellow on an ivory ground. This fine quality antique shawl has a pretty rose-petal-pink border and a slight crepe texture between the woven ribbon-work, all reminiscent of Liberty shawls of the period. Lovely and wearable, the silk is very strong and the shawl is in excellent uncleaned antique condition with a small spot (please see photos), measures approximately 56 x 60-inches.
