1930's Chevron Stripe Halter Dress With Bolero Jacket

Colorful 1930's rayon taffeta halter dress and bolero jacket with a colorful striped pattern matched on the sides, back and bodice in a chevron pattern in saturated shades of red, gold, green, blue, silver and black. The silhouette is very beautiful - romantic and elegant with the jacket in place and chic and flirty with the draped halter bodice exposed above the full skirt. There is a low rear neckline, a side zipper, four hooks-and-eyes closing the halter at the back of the neck and the ensemble is in excellent uncleaned vintage condition, very strong, crisp and wearable with a small, difficult to find spot at the hemline and one missing hook on the halter strap. The jacket measures 12-inches long with a 34 bust and 8 1/2-inch sleeves, and the dress measures 54-inches long with a 34 bust and 24 waist.
