Unused Antique Bobbin Lace Parasol Canopy / Cover

Beautiful antique Victorian handmade bobbin lace parasol canopy with an intricate pattern featuring meandering bands of linen stitch cloth work, tiny wheatear flowers and fronds and a ground combination of twisted and braided mesh, twisted bars and four-strand braided bars with picots. The elegant pattern flows gracefully from a center cluster of raised wheatears, becoming gradually larger in scale as it nears the shaped outer edge, and the canopy is in excellent uncleaned antique condition with a few spots of pale age discoloration from storage, measures approximately 22 1/2-inches in diameter.
