1970's Emilio Pucci silk/rayon blend jersey dress with an expressive stylized floral print in black and ivory on a mint green ground. The lively floral print nicely captures the whimsical nature of post-1960's design styles: prettier, more playful and decidedly less dramatic. Pucci's ability to create a garment that's harmonious and refined while remaining bold and youthful is clearly in evidence in this dress, but I've always felt his 1970's dresses were more feminine and graceful than earlier examples. This v-neck dress is smartly tailored through the torso, releases to a full skirt with an elegant 108-inch sweep and closes in back with a hidden zipper and a single hook-and-eye on top. There are "Emilio Pucci Florence - Italy" and "Saks Fifth Avenue Emilio Pucci Boutique" labels with a size 10 tag and the dress is in excellent uncleaned vintage condition with a few small, very pale spots, measures an unexpanded 45-inches long with a 32 bust, 26 waist, 17 sleeve and 108-inches around the hemline.
