Opulent 1960's gown from Nan Duskin, Philadelphia, features a full skirt gathered to an empire waist, a lame' neckline and cuffs embellished with bullion trims and rhinestones and an exotic geometric pattern softened with stylized lotus blossoms and other flowers in pink, silver, orange and fuchsia outlined and shot with gold metallic threads. Romantic and extravagant, this superb quality gown has an intricately constructed lining beneath the textural, brocaded dress fabric, a fuchsia rear zipper closure with hooks-and-eyes at the top and a "Nan Duskin" label inside the skirt. In excellent uncleaned vintage condition, ready to wear with some small spots (appear to be color run) to the lining just below the neckline, measures an unexpanded 54-inches long with a 36 bust, 22-inch sleeve measured from the shoulder and 14-inches between the shoulders.
