Striking 1960's Maggi For Anne Bloom Beaded Voided Velvet Dress

Striking 1960's Maggi for Anne Bloom lime green voided velvet dress with bead, sequin and simulated pearl embellishments. The top of this two-piece sheath has a wonderful feathery pattern in the velvet and an abundance of bright green beads, iridescent sequins and lustrous iridescent blue pearls at the cuffs and neckline. The velvet is a gossamer chiffon with a slight crepe texture in the voided areas with an ivory backing and a mint green lining that hangs freely at the hemline. It closes with a rear zipper. The skirt has embellished slits on each side, a silky green panel where it's covered by the top, a side zipper and a "Maggi By Anne Bloom London Paris New York" label above a special order label. Both pieces are in excellent uncleaned vintage condition, beautifully constructed, superb quality and ready to wear as an ensemble or as separates. The ensemble measures 54-inches long overall, the skirt has a 26-inch waist and the top measures 33-inches long with a 36 bust and hip and 30 waist.
