1930's Whiting & Davis Art Deco Mesh Purse

1930's Whiting & Davis mesh bag with a very good Art Deco frame and painted mesh and fringe. The frame has a warm gold surface over a wonderful combination of Art Deco designs including chevrons, diamonds and concentric, tipped squares on a stepped architectural platform at the top of the purse. There is a snake chain handle, a silk lining and the Whiting & Davis mark is stamped inside the frame. In good vintage condition with some separation, splits and soiling to the lining, the bag is detached from the first two tiny holes on one side and the paint/enameling is too faint to identify a pattern so I assume some loss and fading to the paint, measures 9 1/2-inches tall from the top of the frame to the bottom of the fringe and 5-inches wide at the frame with a 16-inch overall chain handle.
