Georg Jensen #13 Brooch With Coral Cabochon 1933-1944 Mark

Georg Jensen #13 sterling silver brooch with a 7-mm coral cabochon. This highly-stylized brooch has a very organic design featuring a domed silhouette with a hammered surface, carved overlapping leaves, sinuous fluted vines and two flowers - one with a bead center and one with the red coral cabochon. There is a trombone catch and several marks including the 1933-1944 "GJ" in a rectangle company mark, "925" for silver content above "Sterling, Denmark" and the style number "13". In excellent vintage condition, measures 1 15/16 x 1 1/2-inches.
