Vintage Dutch 835 Silver Ring With Large Lapis Cabochon

Vintage handmade 835 silver ring with an elaborate beaded setting and shoulders and a 12 x 20-mm lapis cabochon. The stone is very beautiful and unusual with larger silver areas and smaller silver flecks that create an illusion of translucence. Probably Dutch in origin, there is an "835" within a sword and what appear to be the initials "FL" within a diamond, both on the outside fo the shank. In excellent vintage condition, the shank is slightly out-of-round, measures 17 1/2 x 19 1/2-mm at the setting and a size 8.75 U.S. (sizable).
