Brightly Colored 1920's Beaded Flapper Purse

Brightly colored 1920's beaded purse, a hard-to-find flapper-era accessory in excellent vintage condition. The purse is a dynamic combination of stylized floral and geometric forms, a vivid yellow, green, lavender, black and blue color palette and a flamboyant, heavily fringed silhouette typical of the flapper era. The black beading makes this a great choice to accessorize a predominantly black flapper dress. There is a lavender silk faille lining with a small lipstick or compact pocket, a strap handle backed with the same silk and a drawstring with a berry-like beaded ball-drop. In excellent vintage condition with a strand of fringe missing (difficult to notice), measures 17-inches long including the handle and 2 1/2-inches of fringe and 7 1/2-inches wide.
