1940s Vintage Rex Fifth Avenue Enameled Coral Floral Compact
A lovely compact by Rex Fifth Avenue which merged with Dorset in 1951. The brass compact features embossed gold leaves on an enameled coral pink background. The original sifting net and puff are present with a small amount of powder. This compact was made in the USA.
Condition is very good overall with some light scratches showing on the edges and back which also shows some mild scuffing. There is a scuff on the front, about 1" across that can only be seen on an angle and appears far more visible in the photos than it really is. The mirror has lightly clouded and has a few spots. The compact closes securely.
Measurements: 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" x 7/16"
