Limoges Gorgeous Cider Pitcher with Red and Purple Grapes

I have for your consideration a wonderful Limoges cider pitcher bearing the Jean Pouyat mark 4 (circa 1890-1920).

The cider pitcher measures 5.5" tall and 8" across from handle to spout. The body of the pitcher is painted a wonderful celery green with splashes of deep greens, purples and reds. Against this colorful canvas, the artist has hand painted large red and dark purple grapes. These grapes trail around the pitcher on twining vines with wispy tendrils. This vineyard delight is punctuated with shades of green and golden leaves. The raised beaded handle and base of the cider pitcher are done in gold gild.

This is a really nice, clean example of wonderful hand painted Limoges. I can not find one teeny thing wrong with the pitcher. There is no gold loss. There is no flicks, scuffs or scratches to the paint. There are no cracks, hairlines, spiders, flakes or flea bites to the body. Just about as pristine as you can get!
