Limoges Fabulous Brounssillon Decorated Rose Filled Chocolate Pot

The chocolate pot stands 10.25" tall. The background porcelain is a pale dainty yellow which shows through at the base and then quickly takes on a soft lilac tinge as it travels upward and finally turns to a deeper muted purple around neck, spout and rim area. Against this pleasing and familiar Broussillon coloring, he executes his very own recognizable style of red and yellow roses; the vibrant yellow roses with dark orange and caramel centers. These beauties are nestled among tufts of Broussillon's standard lime and forest green foliage dotted with muted gray and purple shadow leaves.

Adding a fitting and lovely top to his chocolate pot, Broussillon compliments the yellow lid with the same tinge of lilac as the body of the pot. Topping off the lid is a simple gracefully arched finial that mirrors the same elegant shape and color as the gold encrusted handle. The mouth and spout area of the chocolate pot is also trimmed in gold gild.

This is definitely a classic Broussillon piece! I am sure there are many collectors out there that will have other pieces to match this design and this will perhaps complete or add nicely to your set. The chocolate pot is in excellent condition. I see no wear to the gold. I see no loss of paint, scuffs or scratches. I see no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or spiders.
