Limoges Large Signed Cobalt Blue Rimmed Charger/Plaque with Bischoff Like Gorgeous Raspberry Pink Roses

The charger/plaque is large measuring just shy of 12.5" in diameter. As one would frame a valuable oil painting, the artist here frames his porcelain still life in a wide cobalt blue band that brings a crisp richness and frames the roses in a pop of color. The porcelain canvas itself is done in impressionistic swirls of yellow, green, amber, purple, teal, and blue. Against this stunning back drop, the artist has hand painted huge unbelievably gorgeous raspberry and soft pink roses with overtones of reds and purples. The use of color and shadows create great depth and movement. Surrounding the roses is a kaleidoscope of amazing shades of green, chocolate brown, caramel and yellow foliage.

This is truly a phenomenal display of color and an incredible example of superbly executed roses. The charger/plaque is in excellent condition. There are no chips or flea bites. There are no cracks, hairlines or spiders. There is one small surface scratch on the cobalt blue rim, but it is not noticeable unless titled just so ... and because the blue goes all the way through making it inconspicuous.

This is definitely a piece that could be displayed as a stand alone piece of wall art or as a star among other roses filled chargers.
