Beautifully decorated scalloped edge hand painted game fish plate by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges France. This plate has a hand Painted fresh water game fish in its center on a light blue background that fades to the outside to the plate to white. The outer scalloped edge rim of the plate is raised and heavily gilded. This plate is marked on the bottom with the green under glaze mark of Emile Coiffe (Ca. after 1890) who produced white ware porcelain that was decorated by other companies. It also bares the purple over glaze mark # 9 of, Ca 1892 to 1907 (early part of period). It also has a third mark over the TV mark of the importer Wilhelm & Graef of New York in purple over glaze that matches the TV mark, who must have commissioned Tressemann & Vogt to produce the beautiful plates. The plate measures 9-1/4"in diameter and is in outstanding condition with no chips cracks or hairlines with minor wear to the gilded rim.
