Faded grandeur antique French ormolu and wood mat boudoir photo / miniature frame, dating from the late 1800'S early 1900's . The frame has 3 apertures with decorative images which I believe depicts the very beautiful and elegant Marie Antoinette .These images could be easily changed if the buyer so desired. Each round opening has a slightly convex glass. A finely detailed frame with classical embellishments. It is in good overall condition save for some large ink letters to the green backing , although this will not show once it is hung on a wall. It has taken on a delicious faded grandeur air with loss of gilding and traces of old polish but should polish up if required. There are 2 tiny holes at the top of the frame, so that it can be suspended on a chain or ribbon. A very decorative boudoir frame for your delectation ! Dimensions : 11 inches high 4 3/4 inches wide / aperture 2 1/8th inch wide
