Delicious French chateau lace cantonniere / portiere / pelmet floral motifs
Utterly delicious French, ecru cotton lace ( dentelle a lacet ) very long chateau portiere / cantonniere / pelmet for framing a doorway or window, dating from the early 1900's. A wonderful,intricate handmade scrolled confection with delicious floral motifs. The portiere is in very good condition, with only a few small rust marks. My apologies but I was unable to display it properly outside , as it has not stop raining for ages , so I have draped it over one of my windows. It would make a superb finishing touch for your own French boudoir !
