Faded grandeur French Marquise boudoir porcelain half doll 1920's
This is the creme de la creme of porcelain half doll's. She is so delicious with her beautiful 18th C. grey coiffed wig ,delicately painted face with rouged cheeks, shoulders and fine hands . She is dressed in a very elegant off the shoulder salmon pink dress,trimmed with ruffled ribbon and roses. She is mounted on a cardboard box which is covered by fabric . She has taken on a wonderful faded grandeur air, her dress has faded with the passing years and has a few stains ( not immediately noticeable ) but it is not torn or has any holes, the carboard base has foxing .
This delicious Marquise is a must have for any discerning French boudoir !
