Superb antique French bride's wax orange blossom wedding crown & finery

Exquisite antique French, bride's wax orange blossom and bud wedding parure consisting of a crown , corsage , brooch and earrings, dating from the late 1800's. These romantic treasures are getting more difficult to find especially in this well preserved and fairly fresh state of conservation. Delicious hand made confections consisting of milky buds ,clotted cream, toffee fudge and tea colored flowers with ochre stamens contrasted by faded fabric leaves . The crown is particularly fresh given it's great age, the other pieces have taken on a more faded grandeur mellowed air with the passage of time. The parure is in overall good condition with some only to be expected imperfections and the stems on the corsage are crushed . Orange blossom was used in bridal finery as a symbol of virginity and eternity. A wonderful romantic imposing confection for display or used as part of a bridal trousseau. Please study the photos as these form part of the description, if you would like more, please do not hesitate to ask. Dimensions of crown : 8 inches long 6 1/2 inches wide 4 1/2 inches high at the front
