Exquisite rare antique French Empire crown / diadem faux pearls

Exquisite and quite rare antique French, gilt metal ( which looks very much like gold but I have not tested it ) and faux pearl diadem / crown / comb with delightful floral motifs, dating from the early 1800's ( Georgian period ). A most tasteful and elegant hair ornament jewelry confection, with a very decorative gilt metal lattice work surmounted by a profusion of 3 different sized faux pearls. The diadem no longer has it's original comb , 6 of the top posts are bent ,it has 7 missing faux pearls and quite a few damaged ones but the gilt metal lattice work has no breaks or missing elements. These beautiful treasures are very difficult to source, so I was pleased to find this one for your delectation. It would make a splendid bridal wedding crown in the " something old , something new " tradition , a splendid collector's piece or for display.Kindly study the photos as these form part of the description, if you need more, please do not hesitate to contact me. Dimensions : 3/4 inch high 6 inches wide
