Fabulous carved Ivory- Netsuke- Mask
Here is a marvelous piece of hand carved artwork. This item was taken to Grey's Appraisal and auctions -Cleveland Ohio. Here is what I am told. It is ivory and it is magnificent looking with intricate details. The two holes are there that make it the toggle-netsuke. There is a signature on the back side. Grey's date this piece to the early 1900's. It is a fabulous piece to admire from the tiny rosettes at the top of the head to the wonderful carved teeth. It is in very excellent condition -I see NO chips or cracks at all. A very fine collectors item. This item measures 2" by 1 1/2" 3/4" rise.This item and all ivory items are being removed very shortly as we no longer can sell ivory on Ruby lane.NO paypal accepted- Check or Money order only.
