Vivid colored- beaded Haskell -clip
This is an early Miriam Haskell clip-from around the late 1930's. The item is not signed but many examples are found in major jewelry books. This "Fan" design was made in several different colors of beads by Haskell. The gold tone open work adornment on the front is a typical Haskell piece. The hand sewn beads and the perforated celluloid back are also a Haskell trait. The glass beads are very high quality as well. The primary colors are vivid and each bead is in wonderful condition. They graduate in size in each row. The top has a group of same colors-accent beads that are sewn into the gold tone adornment. The back clip is still nice and snappy. This item is in great vintage condition and it measures 1 3/4" by 2 3/4"
